Fundraiser Changes for Fall 2008

Parents and Coaches:

As some of you may know, we are working on phasing out the fundraiser program to help eliminate some of the administrative frustration that accompanies it each season. This fall will be the last season fundraisers will be available. Starting in the spring of 2009, we will no longer have fundraisers. We understand that some families rely on the fundraiser to help offset the registration fees and to that we will continue to offer fundraisers on a case-by-case basis.

For this fall, we are implementing one final change to the fundraisers as we finish the last stage of the phase-out. While they are still be offered, you will now be required to pay for the fundraiser with your registration fee and then the money you make from selling the candy will simply go right into your pocket. This will help with fee collections and also to take the responsibility off of the coaches to help collect and return the fundraiser fees. The $10 opt-out fee is still available if you would prefer not to participate in the fundraiser.
