Coaches,
As we begin to practice this week i want to encourage you not to get frustrated in coaching these young players. You coach for fun and development and they play for fun and development. Don`t get caught up in what you don`t know, just do what you do know. Be the kind of coach you would want if you were still a kid. Don`t try to force a round peg into a square hole, meaning, be patient with the kids and take in the joy of spending time with young players. Giving them support, stability and a secure environment in which they feel they have freedom to learn and fail without severe criticism.
